    The Buwanume Parish located within Kamuli, Uganda is a remote rural community with little contact with the outside community. They are a very poor community with the majority being widows and orphans. Most people within the Buwanume Parish are unable to finish Primary School due to lack of funds and financial support. Most people within the community survive through agriculture and farming yet do not know how to correctly care for their animals or benefit from their products and therefore earn very little.

    As farming is the main job of people within the Buwanume Parish a demonstration farm would teach them how to properly care for their animals, how to increase the number of their livestock and how to get the most out of their animals through sales of the products.
