    About this project

Dirk Schwindling from Tibethaus Kulturstiftung is responsible for this project
    Dear supporters,

the project has reached an important milestone! The 1st volume has been published in English (Stages of The Path) and in German (Wegweiser für die Welt von heute) in autumn 2022. The publication of Volume 2 is planned for 2023. For this we ask you once again for your support.

It all began more than 10 years ago, when H. H. the Dalai Lama asked his long-time confidant, the spiritual director of Tibet House Germany in Frankfurt, H. E. Dagyab Rinpoche, to take on the mammoth task of compiling this work. Rinpoche worked intensively on it for more than ten years. He travelled to Dharamsala several times to review and edit the text in detail with His Holiness, as well as Prof. Samdhong Rinpoche, Yangteng Rinpoche and Geshe Thubten Jinpa.

These two volumes contain the essential thoughts of the Dalai Lama being his contribution to central issues of humanity.

    The Introduction and Summary

By offering translations into different languages, we want to make this profound knowledge accessible to everyone who is interested in it worldwide and give everyone the opportunity to benefit from it.

With the Gaden Phodrang Foundation of the Dalai Lama and the Tibet House Germany as responsible initiators, the work will be published in German and English - and soon in Chinese as well.

Through the generous financial support of the Gaden Phodrang Foundation and other donations, the costs of 126,000 € for the English edition are mostly secured. We still need about 12,000 €.

The costs for the German edition amount to 115,000 €. Through the support of many people, we now only need about 17,000 €.

This amount consists of translation fees as well as expenses for editing, coordination and legal advice.

The Chinese edition is already covered by a generous private donation.
Further editions, for example into Italian or French, are planned.
