About this project

As an annual competition, Flussbad Pokal is currently the only possibility to swim within a Spree river side-canal and thereby personally experience one of Flussbad Berlins main project aims. The swimming event has an international reputation and fosters open-water use within Berlins city center.
Between 2015 and 2019 almost 1000 participants swam between Museum-Island and Lustgarten at Castle-Bridge (Schlossbrücke).
The event depends on water quality within the river and can be cancelled on short notice due to heavy rain and sewage spill-over. More informations can be found at www.flussbad-berlin.de/flussbadpokal
