What happens on Sustainche Farm right now ?

Hello Manfredche II,

Thanks for your questions ! Well, yes, the small rainy season can start any time from late September/early October. However, this year we haven’t seen any rain yet. As mentioned on Twitter there were a few days when some cumulus clouds arrived in Northern Namibia. But they were blown away by the wind. October now seems to be the “windy month” – as it usually refers to August !

During the last weeks Tatekulu Fillipus was very busy maintaining some reed grass roofs. He is the real specialist of this kind of architecture. Sustainche feels that Tatekulu Fillipus would need some assistance for this hard work, but it is very difficult to find a reliable youngster who could help.

Right, this is the high season of marula oil production. However, Meme Tresia during the past weekend focussed on melon oil production, which is another oil speciality at Sustainche Farm. We hope that this answered your questions !

Wishing all the best for all of you in autumn Germany,Sustainche, Lisa & the Sustainche Farm Project
