About this project

H. Glas from FANGA e.V. is responsible for this project
Burkina Faso is one of the poorest countries on earth. This poverty especially affects the education of children. Though offically there's compulsory schooling the illiteracy is almost reaching 80%! The school enrolement costs money - money most families can't afford. To learn a trade apprentices have to pay aswell.

FANGA e.V. operates a job training center in Banfora - in the south of the country - in which young people in need are trained free of charge by local master craftsmen. The training center started operations in September 2018. Currently, tailors are being trained there. We hope to increase the number of occupations over time.

Help us maintain the operation of the training center and provide training for the young people of Banfora!
 Thank you!
