Please donate for a special art project about migration, home and nature

Environmental protection, homeland and migration are omnipresent today. However, they are rarely considered together. We present 17 international artists who have dealt with these topics and open up new perspectives!

As migration is omnipresent, the question of the concept of homeland is not far away either. Many people are forced to leave their homeland and find a new home somewhere else, be it for humanitarian, economic or climatic reasons. But even people who are not directly affected by migration feel increasingly uprooted, especially in the cities.

Other people often feel connected to a particular landscape for a lifetime, mostly the landscape that they lived in as a child. Often people can find a second home through a similar landscape. But what makes a place of residence a home and to what extent does nature (still) play a role? Although nature is ultimately the home of all of us.

17 international artists are approaching these questions in our exhibition ENT_WURZELT / UP_ROOTED
from 7. 9.-15.11.2019 in our Green Hill Gallery at Grünberger Straße 13 in Berlin-Friedrichshain

The project ENT_WURZELT / UP_ROOTED creates an important link between art, migration and environmental protection, which has  - in this combination -received little attention so far. But it is precisely with this interconnection that we create the necessary attention and emotional connection to make people equally interested in both integration and environmental protection, and to inspire them for new ways and solutions. Both topics are based on the handling of community and identity, which are indispensable for our society.

Our project is not just an exhibition, but has also an extensive supporting program, which approaches the subject in different ways. Check our website www.kulturschoepfer.de for upcoming events.

To get the art of 17 international artists to the gallery, we need money. We can also use financial support for our marketing and organization. Kulturschöpfer would like to thank everyone who participate with a small donation in this integrative cultural project!
