About this project

What's the deal?
GlobalMatch e.V. is an NGO which aims to reduce global inequalities by connecting young people from different parts of the world using digital media so they can exchange ideas, share opportunities and develop social projects together.

This year we'll be welcoming two paid interns from Germany and Uganda. They will both spend three months in Germany and three months in Uganda in a key role at GlobalMatch, helping us give our participants the best experience possible and spreading the word about the programme.

To make this exchange happen, we need your help
While the internships themselves are funded by the ASA programme, we need to fund our interns’ travel between Germany and Uganda ourselves.

Your donation – big or small – will help us meet the expected €2000 in travel costs and enable our interns to work for GlobalMatch in both Germany and Uganda (three months in each country).

Help us create opportunities
Our philosophy is that no matter where you come from, you should have equal chances to learn and gain skills and experience. You’ll be helping us give two young people the opportunity to gain valuable experience at GlobalMatch and see another country as part of a fully-funded exchange position.
The internships begin in April 2019, so we’re hoping to raise as much of the €2000 we can by March so we can arrange travel for our interns.
Thanks for your support!
