School year begins at the end of April

Hi everyone. Thanks again for all your donations. This means so much for the students and the parents. The Ecuadorian education system has changed the requirements for graduating from grade school. Now to graduate a student has to complete 7th and 8th grade. The local rural schools do not have 7th and 8th grades so the students have to travel to Apuela to attend the middle school to be able to graduate from gradeschool. The Ecuadorian government does not supply transportation for the students. You are not only helping provide a high school eduaction but the basic grade school education for over thirty students.
