About the problem
Driven by a passion for equality
, United for Hope
is creating more dignified, inclusive and safer living conditions in rural India through a Smart Village approach
. Women and girls face numerous challenges
, enduring domestic violence, child marriages, and sexual abuse. Caused by dominant patriarchal norms
: these are still accepted and passed on to the next generations, creating an endless cycle of oppression
Menstruation is a process which every women has to deal with, yet lack of awareness about it results in the persistence of harmful and dangerous practices.
Our project encompasses 2 elements: the first focuses on awareness workshops for girls, boys, and teachers on Menstrual Hygiene Management and Gender Sensitivity; the second ensures access to adequate WASH facilities in schools to help girls to manage menstruation.
We aim to target 10,000 students and 350 teachers, creating a more supportive and inclusive environment in 100 schools and related communities.

All of your donations will directly fund our Menstrual Hygiene Management and Gender Sensitivity project - you can make a difference for as little as:

· 45€ will provide 2 schools with appropriate WASH facilities: training for school administrative staff, trainer's salary, dustbins & soap, educational material, resources for Monitoring and Evaluation resources
