100% funded

D. Hoenig-Ohnsorg
We need your help for our dear colleague and friend Cecilia Capra who suffered complications while giving birth to her second child. Cecilia needs urgent medical treatment that her family can not afford without our help.

Valor-Support e.V. helped initiating the Bolivian Foundation "Primeros Pasos" to prevent youth and community centers from closing. Cecilia is the founding-member of the foundation and without her we would have not been able to keep this great project running for over 6 years now.

In the beginning of 2010 Cecilia and the team of Valor-Support e.V. decided to close down the project due to a lack of funding and team-support on the ground. Cecilia wanted to move on with her personal career and private life, and unfortunately there was no other team that could have replaced her to assure self-sustainability of the project. Cecilia decided to stay with the Foundation till August 2010 to assure a fair and transparent closure of the project that she cared about and invested all of her time and energy over the past 6 years.

In December, Cecilia gave birth to her second child and suffered life-threatening complications. Thank God the child is healthy and Cecilia survived. Nevertheless she now needs urgent medical treatments to recover. Costs for those treatments can not be fully covered by her family. Although Cecilia is no longer working for the foundation, we feel with her and her family and invite all of you to show your solidarity with her and the respect for her great work in the past to give hope to so many children and families. The smallest contribution can help her and her family in this difficult time.

Sincerely,
Dennis and the Team of Valor-Support e.V.
