Dear Supporters

I humbly requesting you to kindly help to care and protect 50 rescued vulnerable migrant children from the brick industries at Choutappal Mandal, Telgana, India

Every year more than 100 families are migrating from the state of Odhisha to this location to work in these hazardous brick kilns for period of 7 months on seasonal base during November to June. The employers could not provide basic facilities to the families and give low wages.  And moreover they are also engaged the innocent children in the brick kilns. They live in small huts, no toilets, no drinking water, and no medical and nutritional facilities for the families.

Recently the government of Telangna caught 200 child labor on 4th January 2017 at Choutuppal Mandal and booked cases against 11 brick industries.

Hence the Child and women welfare department, Government of the Telangana is requested our NGO to protect the vulnerable children in the area on emergency base. Since our organization is engaged in child protection, care and education activities in Andhra Pradesh and more over our Vice President Mrs. Sathya Haveela is living in close to the area of Brick industries and she gets an appreciation award from the Collector, Yadadri District for the best services  on the occasion of International Women day 2017

Therefore we stared a school for the identified children and youth in the near brick industries from February 2017. This school is inaugurated by Women and Child Protection, Labor and Education departments, Government of Telangana.

This school will run for a period of 6 months by facilitating primary education, vocational skills training in their mother tongue language and provide nutritional meal, health care. This school is operating by two qualified skills teachers and one motivator continuously during the season.  We are running this program in a rented house to conduct classes and serve nutrition lunch

Unfortunately no other organizations or government is supporting these migrated vulnerable children and very difficult for us to provide lunch and vocational skills training to the children in at risk.  And our efforts are meager and we need your help to continue school with education, health scare and nutritional support at least for 50 identified vulnerable children and youth from Odhisha state. .

Therefore I humbly request you kindly consider the urgent need of the children at risk and support the school to continue for years.
