    About this project

    C. Hoppe from Verein zur Förderung der Epilepsieforschung e.V. is responsible for this project
The Department of Epileptology at the University of Bonn (Germany) is one of the worldwide leading centres for research on and treatment of epilepsies. After a recent professional trip to Addis Abeba (Ethiopia), Prof. Dr. Christian E. Elger, head of the department, decided to launch a research collaboration with the Ethiopian colleagues. Physicians and other medicals personnel should be offered high-quality education (partly in Bonn, Germany) and the equipment especially for epilepsy diagnostics (EEG, MRI) should be improved step by step. We invite people to support this collaborative research project and thereby to improve the care of people with epilepsy in Ethiopia in the long run.
