Summer UAEMing had me a blast!

Summer is drawing to a close, and with it comes the beautiful autum colours, isn't that nice too?

UAEMers throughout Europe have kept busy the last few months : Berlin, London, Amsterdam, Paris, you name it, we were active there! Throughout the summer, our student-volunteers participated and engaged in a number of conferences, building on the awareness on the importance of access to medicines for all. Summer was synomymous to learning and to empowerment, when our student-volunteers attended training camps and got together for leadership meetings and training weekends.

In less than 2 months, we will be having our Access 2 medicines Week, a week full of creative actions and information giving to raise awareness on the access to medicines issues. From the 5th to 11th of November, all around Europe in the UAEM chapters, our UAEMers will collaboratively engage in joint actions over the theme of Transparency to actively discuss the issues which prevent medicines to be made for people. 

Every little step counts in a world where issues which affect millions are decided upon by a select few. We have to do our part, and our student-volunteers are fully engaged and motivated to make this world a better place, where access to medicines responds to the needs of people and not the needs of profit-driven companies. All of our successes and achievements are yours too, because you care by supporting us. Your support matters, we appreciate that.
