Help Liberia Foundation Community School, a primary school established in 2005 in the West African nation of Liberia, is located in the town of Buchanan, which is about 113km from Monrovia, Liberia's Capital City. The school was set up by Help Liberia Foundation, a non-profit organization registered in Liberia and Poland.

The school primarily serves underprivileged children, children whose parents are either poor, unemployed or low-income earners. We started with about 30 kids and, now, there are about 150 children.

We fixed some desks in 2007; however, most of them are either worn out or damaged, and there is a dire need to obtain new ones.

We need 50 desks for 100 children, costing a total of US$500. The biggest challenge, however, is getting the funds. Hence, donations from individuals and institutions of goodwill will certainly capacitate us to not only to obtain the desks quickly, but also to help these underprivileged children learn in a better environment.

We are, therefore, appealing to all compassionate individuals, as well as organizations, to help us give a better future to these children.
