Hello, my name is Lina Bocari. Born an raised in Germany everytime I go to my native country Albania my heart breaks. That's why I want to raise some money for the Organisation „Animal Rescue Albania“. Their goal is to archieve a No-Kill shelter, where cats and dogs can live a good life even though they don't get adopted.
The situation of streetanimals is shocking. The conditions are unimaginable. It's brutal what's happening. Most of the people there have a retarded point of view regarding animals, and their actions approve this. The government once tried to poison and shot street dogs to solve the problem. This year the streets got emptier... people are poisoning the dogs.
Sadly animals are mostly regarded as objects and their also treated that way. To abandon an animal on the street is a common habit. It's very hard for these abandoned animals which were used to humans to survive on the streets. They are still attached to humans and kind so they're still searching the nearness of humans, who often beat or kick them. I've seen so pretty dogs out there. Beautiful huskies or Labradors, which still carry their collar.
Pictures were burned into my head, which I can't forget anymore. Little bear cubs pulled by a heavy chain from their nose. Animals starved to death, which are looking pleadingly at you. They don't even know what a sausage is and don't eat it. Accidented and injured animals. Monkeys in little cages in discotheques.
Please let us help these animals! Albania is a small country but animal suffering is big! But on the other hand this small size can help us to help all animals! In Albania a Euro makes a bigger diffrence than here.
Let us try to fund a sweet home for these little souls!
The money is used to sterilize the animals, to give medical help and to build a shelter.
