Inspiring Kids Promoting Learning
It's that time of year again. The kids in Intag are on vacation. Casa Palabra y Pueblo will be offering special programming to keep them engaged while they aren't in class. Our volunteers have everything from nature walks, to art classes, and picnics planned. This is just another way to help kids discover the joy of learning and explore their own creativity and potential. Be sure to keep an eye on our Facebook page to see what we're up to!
 
Our First Life Story All Thanks to Your Support
We started our life stories project as a way to capture the voices of the men and women who live here. To preserve the history of Intag for future generations before things change forever. Something that becomes more real each passing day. 

In July 2014, in partnership with the University of San Francisco, we published our first life story. The story of Cesar Pavon. You can read the first chapter in Spanish here.

We already have 24 more stories in the works. Each one requires the participation of every member of our staff and a team of volunteers - from interviewing, to transcribing, to transforming the photos and text into a beautiful story.
