    About this project

Mascha W. from Lamp For Future Life is responsible for this project
My name is Mascha Wibbe and i am a Medical student at Medizinische Universitat in Vienna and i am from Germany born at Bonn. I am volunteering with Lamp For Future Life a non profit organisation at Kasoa in Ghana. I had my volunteer placement with St. Joe's Hospital one of Lamp For Future Life's partners at Kasoa in Ghana. There i noticed at the hospital and my host family community that one of the biggest problems is still malaria caused by mosquitoes. It is estimated that at least 5 children die from malaria each day in Ghana.

The project Net Against Malaria's objective is to protect 100 vulnerable children and 50 pregnant women, in Kasoa from mosquito-transmitted malaria - a life threatening disease.
Measures to achieve the target or the objective are:
    1. provide 100 children and 50 pregnant women with free mosquito insecticide-treated bed nets by the end of the year 2015
    2. advise family of the 100 children and 50 pregnant women on how to prevent themselves from mosquito-transmitted malaria - a life threatening disease by the end of the year 2015
The cost per one mosquito net is 5 Euros and we need your help to raise 750 Euros to save the life of 100 children and 50 pregnant women.
