About this project

Intercultural "Garden of Hope" (arab.: bustan-ul-amal) develops on the site of refugee home in Allendeviertel 2 in Berlin-Köpenick. Locals and newcomer work together there voluntary and on an equal footing. The project was founded in 2015 at the initiative of long established neighbours as an green space and edible kitchen garden between the quickly erected container buildings in Alfred-Randt-Straße. The garden is cultivated according to ecological principles. Everyone can take part.
