    About this project

    D. Lenz from Bodhivastu Foundation is responsible for this project
Many villages in the Kathmandu Valley have been trapped due to the heavy earthquake and are not reachable by vehicles.
The Bodhivastu Foundation with her "Dechen Mingyur Ling Retreat Center" located close to the village Sankhu has initiated supplying two villages situated East of Kathmandu that have been hit hard by the earthquake and are now isolated - Sankhu and Yolmo.
Both of the villages have been almost completely destroyed and there are many injured waiting for help. Nuns and monks of the Retreat Centers already have been to Yolmo the first day after providing first aid.

The Retreat Center provided its spaces for shelter. All available tents have been set up and as many people as possible have been provided with first aid, medicaments, food and water.

Members of the Retreat supplied the people in Yolmo and Sankhu with medicaments and the most basic foods reaching the villages by motorcycles.
In order to be able continuing the supply the Retreat is asking for financial support.
