Defeating CORONA with KARUNA

The Corona Shut-Down in India has put countless poor people into existential danger. Most day laborers lost their jobs overnight and now have no money to buy food for their families and no hope for help.

With 11€ you CAN provide enough food for a family of 5 to protect them from hunger for 2 weeks. Many friends of our CAN-Community already did.
That's why on Easter Sunday, 4-12-2020, our CAN HEROS at ASTHA KIRAN were able to distribute rations to 120 FAMILIES.

'KARUNA' is a Sanskrit word. It means 'limitless COMPASSION'.
The coronavirus is teaching us a tough lesson that we are all connected.
In Buddhist philosophy the insight into the interdependence of all things - that nothing and noone exists independently - is considered the highest wisdom.
On the other side of this coin of wisdom is the action of love.

COMPASSION is WISDOM in ACTION.




Practiced Solidarity is currently the global response to Corona's challenge.
The human family is making enormous sacrifices in order to protect its most vulnerable members. That is not to me taken for granted.
A few hundred years ago this response would have been unthinkable.
So that is actually good news.
There is real hope that humanity will come out on the other side of this crisis with an upgraded understanding of TOGETHERNESS which will improve its chances for long-term survival.
TOGETHERNESS is what the Conscious Action Network is all about.

KARUNA will beat CORONA because there is no antidote to LOVE - it is limitless - it is indestructible - and where it comes from, our heart, is an infinite resource - we can never run out - the more we give it, the more there will be ...
