BeBook - the mobile library

dear friends,

we are in the middle of quite a lot of creative workshops and readings with orphants, former street kids and migrant children in the slum areas of Goa. Our volunteer Andrea Perreira, together with 3 Danish volunteers conducts workshops in cooperation with Care and Compassion in Panjim, Maida from Swizerland, supported by BeBook volunteers will conduct a one-week-workshop in cooperation with the open school of Don Bosco in Colvale on the theme of nature. A little booklet will be the outcome of this intense series. And we are also engaging the kids of the orphanage Hamara Ghar. The heat in Goa is killing, but we will not be defeated by the weather and our diminishing funds... One can do quite a lot with hardly any money and the kids love it.
