General work of the foundation, fundraising and communication

The foundation doesn’t get public funding. But for the expansion of its activities it needs financial resources, namely for the office, fundraising and public relations.

The German Tinnitus Foundation Charité was founded in 2011.  Since then, we have done a lot for research and science communication, e.g. co-organized two international tinnitus congresses so that scientists can better network and exchange information. We have given lectures, financed publications, and, together with our dedicated volunteers, we have attended many big events and major festivals to inform young people in particular about tinnitus and hearing protection.

Together with experts, we are currently developing new learning materials for kindergartens and schools. And we would like to motivate young scientists to continue with tinnitus by expendituring the first "Research Price Tinnitus & Hearing".

The foundation doesn’t receive any public funding. But for the expansion of its activities it needs financial resources, namely for the office, fundraising and public relations.

Thank you, that you help to ensure the base for our success!
