Intern's Experience as a Volunteer with EFYE
Last summer, I spent 6 weeks in Kenya and it was one of the most
exciting experiences of my life. Four of these weeks were spent in a
small, beautiful village called Chogoria, near Meru. Alongside with four
AIESEC’s interns from China: Nkinga, Kanana, Gatwiri and Kathomi, their
local given names. Honestly, even if I want it I couldn’t tell you
their “real” names, because once we arrived those were left behind.
Myself I got the name Mutugi, one that looks for the younger and weaker,
so I was told. And, of course, our host Frank Mawira!
