Summer Greetings and Updates

Here's a taster of what has been going on in recent weeks and months:

MCP Flea Market
In glorious May sunshine, we enjoyed the flea market in Heidelberg. The proceeds of 468 Euro will support the Edu Trip in July. Many thanks to all supporters and helpers.
Bags Fit To BurstThanks to all who have contributed towards our collection of project material for the upcoming MCP Friends Trip. We have received pencils, ball point pens, prizes for tournaments, children’s clothes, wool, books, drills, toys, games, and other learning material. The team will leave for Mayana with full bags and meet many happy, smiling faces.

Stop Press!Birgit is a freelance journalist from Germany. She has been working on various projects in Namibia and currently is working on a feature about MCP. She visited Mayana for some days and met with the local community. She interviewed a number of people, and we are very much looking forward to the final result.
Chicken HouseThe construction of the chicken house as part of the school feeding program in Mayana has been organized and implemented in recent weeks. This is a team effort between the Mayana Meho Foundation and Lois, our Manager für Menschen intern. It is also another step towards improving the projects in Mayana. Congratulations and thanks to all involved.

Wheels Up
This week, various MCP members head to Mayana for the Friends Trip and the Edu Trip. They are excited to see our friends in Mayana and send first hand news of what impact your support is having. We wish them a successful trip.
