Here is our May newsletter, with updates from Mayana, plans for the summer, and fundraising news.

News from Mayana:We have received news from Mayana that they are still receiving strong rainfall. A lot of people, followed the advice of officials, planted their crop in November. As a result, this harvest is now endangered. Joseph informed us that he planted his crop in January and is still hopeful of a good harvest.

Edu Trip

In early July we are  taking the first Edu Trip with five youngsters and young adults from Mayana. The aim is to let them experience their own country and then have them share what they find out with the young people back home in Mayana. They were asked to run a project supporting Meho prior to the trip. Mission completed! They created a wall design at Meho (below). Congratulations on a great job!

Spring Dance Fundraiser at H.I.S.

Matthew from Grade 9 and his mother organized the Spring Dance as a social event for students between Grades 6 and 10. They raised 185 Euros at this event. Many thanks to you and all participants. The money will go towards the funding of the Edu Trip.
