Team Jahrestag 2011 - Boxgirls in Neukölln

Hi I would like to thank Renate and everyone from the Jahrestag action for collecting so much money for Boxgirls Sicher im Kiez programmes.  I hear there is still a week to donate and someone very generous has offered a 1 to 1 matching money so please get in there and donate to us through the Jahrestag 2011 action.

In the Sicher im Kiez programmes we go into Grundschulen in Gropiusstadt in Neukölln and teach anti-violence, media, yoga and citizenship skills. One of the children's favourite exercises is "What I would do as mayor" Needless to say for all of us who live in (and love) Neukölln, there is a lot to be done.  I will put up some quotes from the children soon.

If you feel inspired by Renate's teams' success, please do consider hosting a party for Boxgirls or fundraising action. I get to meet some great activists and you get to be aligned with a great grassroots project at home in berlin and most important the girls and boys benefit!
