Herzkranke Kinder können in Beira / MOsambik zwar diagnostiziert werden, allerdings ist eine lebensrettende Operation nur in der Hauptstadt Maputo möglich. Da den Eltern das Geld für den Transport dorthin meistens fehlte, starben früher viele Kinder trotz guter Behandlungsmöglichkeiten. Der Förderverein bezahlt jährlich für 20 bis 30 Kinder den Transport nach Maputo und stellt technisches Gerät zur kardiologischen Nachsorge zur Verfügung.
