Road is constructed

Today members of Twende pamoja Zanzibar have been visiting the side of the road. So we have seen a good development of the road construction achieved. Salhina – a board member of Twende pamoja”  has organized a special offer from the road building company UUB (Department of road constraction) to construct our road to the  maternity hospital.

We have reached a good level . The road now can be easily passed: no bump and no mud during raining season.  We would like to thank all of you who have assisted as to build to road in one or the other way. Asanteni sana (Dankeschön) to all who have voted for the project, who have donated money as well as given support in kind.

While we have succeeded to reach this stage with your contribution, the people specially the expected mothers and their relatives appreciate for the development. Consequently the government is expected to complete the final stage of road construction making the asphalt.
