Support the Exchange: Help Our Friends from Nairobi Have an Unforgettable Stay in Berlin!
As part of the "Nairobi to Berlin" exchange project, young designers from Nairobi and Berlin are working together to develop creative solutions for SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities.
The project focuses on addressing social inequalities and aims to break down these barriers. Through intercultural dialogue and collaborative creative work, we strive to expand perspectives and dismantle systemic inequities.
After two inspiring weeks in Nairobi, we are excited to welcome our friends from the Wajukuu Art Project to Berlin this May!
The project is funded – accommodation, meals, and travel expenses are covered. However, while the Berlin students in Nairobi had the opportunity to grab a snack, buy a drink, or purchase a small keepsake, we want to offer our guests in Berlin the same freedom.
To make this possible, we are raising funds for an additional budget of €300 per person.
This budget aims to help reduce inequalities and enable our friends from Nairobi to navigate Berlin independently—whether for a coffee, a small souvenir, or simply the freedom to explore the city spontaneously.
Every donation – big or small – helps make this intercultural exchange fair and meaningful. Let's work together to ensure the experience in Berlin is just as enriching as it was in Nairobi!
