From january to may 2014 I will be a volunteer for PWB in India, where we will teach circus to children living on the street and orphants , play shows for them and help them create their own show !
The work is of course not paid by the organization and there is no money for accommodation, transportation (flying to india and on location)and food for the volunteers ( in this case me)
so, in order to work in India, I DEPEND ON YOUR DONATIONS !
Performers Without Borders (PWB ) http://performerswithoutborders.org.uk is a small nonprofit organization from London which organizes voluntary children's circus projects for disadvantaged children in India,Nicaragua and Sierra Leone.
We will be in Calcutta, Varanasi and Darjeeling one month each, where we will work together with local nonprofit / social organizations .
PWB is a small ( unfortunately ) , independent (which is important to me) organization that depends on donations.
We could also use Circus material-if you have any props you dont use anymore.
