Support those bereaved by suicide!

At the telephone helpline of Telefonseelsorge Berlin e.V. our volunteers experienced the anxiety, desperation and special burden of people bereaved by suicide or those in close contact with a suicidal person.  This led to the foundation of our counselling service BeSu Berlin – Beratungsstelle für suizidbetroffene An-und Zugehörige, which provides a safe environment for speaking, mourning, silence and sharing experiences and feelings. This service is unique in Germany.

We offer individual counselling sessions and moderated groups, according to the needs of our clients. All of our services are provided free of charge.

The services are confidential, anonymous if desired and available without long waiting times. Sessions are offered face-to-face, online or by telephone. 

Our counsellors are qualified specialists. They have many years of professional experience and are qualified in various ways as consultants and therapists. According to Section 203 of the Criminal Code, they are subject to confidentiality.
