Giving closeness in a particularly difficult time - a family home for Würzburg
Medical treatment often involves a great deal of effort - especially when patients are treated away from home. Daily journeys or additional costs for a hotel room add to the emotional strain for many patients and relatives.
We now know that the support and assistance patients receive from family, partners and friends has a significant influence on a positive course of treatment.
The patients' and relatives' house should be a place of security and encounter.
