    We are a forward-thinking canoe club, based on the Ruhr in Essen-Werden since 1926, passionate about embracing the diversity of paddling in all its forms. It's not just about kayaking; it's about our shared passion for sports in nature and the strong community that unites us.

    Our activities range from leisurely touring, where we savor the beauty of nature, to thrilling paddling on small rivers, and even engaging in workouts with stand-up paddling and surfski.

    We embrace modern approaches and aim to promote the enjoyment of canoeing. Your support is vital for us to achieve our goals:

    • Procuring more modern kayaks to enhance the enjoyment of the sport and support the diversity of canoeing.
    • Advancing the modernization of our boathouse to create a contemporary club hub.
    • Environmentally friendly transportation with a new kayak trailer.
