Climate council for Halle (Saale), together to our climate-neutral city!

We are HalleZero, a non-profit association founded in 2020 that is committed to making the city of Halle (Saale) climate neutral as quickly as possible. 
 
To achieve this, we want to establish a climate protection council together with the city of Halle (Saale), its businesses and other partners. This council is to form the central hub of a municipal climate protection network and enable all municipal stakeholders (city administration, companies, associations, clubs, initiatives) to jointly take and accelerate the steps toward climate neutrality. 
 
To this end, in addition to a representative council, topic-specific working groups are to be formed in which the participating actors can jointly develop and implement concrete measures and projects. These will then be incorporated into the climate protection concept of the city of Halle (Saale). The plan is for the people of Halle to contribute their own ideas and help implement them. Everyone can join in! In this way, we will create an overall strategy together with the city society, with which we want to achieve climate neutrality for Halle (Saale).
 
However, we cannot organize the planned climate protection council on a purely voluntary basis and the coordination of the various working groups requires professional management. Therefore, together with our partners (city, public utilities, etc.), we would like to apply for funding through the municipal guidelines. With the funding, we can build up the structures of the climate protection council and attract actors who will support the council financially and carry the project through to climate neutrality.
 
The partners are on board, there is a project sponsor and the funding application has been prepared. All that's missing now is our own contribution, which we need to submit the application. But as a non-profit association HalleZero e. V. cannot raise this contribution of 9,000 € on its own. Therefore we need you! 
If everyone makes a small contribution*, we will quickly have the 9,000 € together and can take a big step towards climate neutrality!
