    About this project

Torsten Krug from INSEL is responsible for this project
For our start on the INSEL three years ago, we had taken over an old Stutz grand piano and - thanks to numerous donations - once again got everything out of it. It has served us faithfully. Max Prosa affectionately called it "an instrument with character".
Now it no longer meets the growing demands on the INSEL. Our beautiful hall and our jazz, classical and singer-songwriter musicians demand an appropriate instrument that can fill the INSEL with euphony. To ensure that the new grand piano lasts for a long time and that the fluctuating temperatures at the INSEL do not harm it, it is to have its own small air-conditioning unit. We will be looking for both new and second-hand instruments. An instalment purchase is also a possibility. For this we ask for a melodious donation. Every note counts. Thank you!
