    The Connewitz Street Festival offers a varied stage programme for young and old, stalls from associations, (civic) initiatives and tradespeople, as well as a balanced culinary offering. Since 1992, the parishes of the south of Leipzig, namely the Protestant Paul Gerhardt parish and the Catholic parish of St. Bonifatius, have invited people to Selneckerstrasse in the colourful district of Leipzig-Connewitz every year in May.
    The festival is organised on a voluntary basis by members of the congregation and guests with a lot of heart and soul and requires money for artists' fees for a great and varied stage programme, material for implementing the annual motto and the children's rally, necessary purchases such as coffee cups ...
