In the future workshop bungalow we want to do woodwork & bike repairs. Unfortunately, the roof is completely broken / beyond repair. With your help, we are building a new roof so we can do initial repairs in 2023.

The vision of SALVIA – the educational garden is to life inclusion, to educate and learn from another as well as to garden in a diverse community.
We are building an accessible garden where people with and without disabilities as well as people with migration biographie have access to environmental education and to gartending in a community.
The vision of SALVIA – the educational garden is to life inclusion, to educate and learn from another as well as to garden in a diverse community.
We are building an accessible garden where people with and without disabilities as well as people with migration biographie have access to environmental education and to gartending in a community.
SALVIA - an educational garden for EVERYONE - is being created on the 5,000 square meter site of a former allotment garden settlement. Here we are e. g. clearing the area of contaminated land. We are turning the SALVIA garden into a meeting space in the east of Leipzig. Here inclusion, nature conservation and educational opportunities take place as a matter of course and complement each other.
In the SALVIA garden, visitors will find display and cultivation areas for various plants. One focus in cultivation is on herbs and fragrant plants. Learning spaces for young and old have already been created in the area. In the SALVIA garden, knowledge can be acquired about plants and their communities, insects and biodiversity.
The forest garden will soon invite visitors to community gardening in the tree, shrub and herb layer. The different biotopes in the forest garden can be used as green classrooms or observation rooms. We try out different cultivation techniques here (permaculture, terra preta, raised bed cultivation).
Our workshop space will be created in the 2023 season.
During the 2022 international work camp, participants cleared an area of construction debris and trash. Here is the bungalow, which we want to convert into a small workshop room due to its good structural condition. Starting next season, small woodworking and repair work will be done here. Small bicycle repairs can also be done on the spot.
The entire roof of this bungalow is no longer salvageable. Accordingly, we have to build a new pent roof for the workshop. For the necessary roof construction materials and for the demolition as well as a new construction of the roof we need your important support.
