The Moria White Helmets are continuing to build an infrastructure for collecting plastic bottles in the camp, which means that the amount of plastic bottles collected every day is increasing. The success of the project so far and the feedback from the camp residents clearly show how important environmental projects are in the camp. It also shows how crucial a good partner like the Moria White Helmets is. Especially because they are a self-organising group of refugees, they are known and respected throughout the camp. Projects implemented by them or with them therefore find very quick access to all camp residents and reinforce the community that they are the ones who can make an important contribution to positive change.
