New acquisition of an "emergency vehicle for the PSNV unit

The DRK local association in Baunatal has a long tradition. Since 1955 we have been involved in a variety of ways for fellow citizens in our area of ​​operations and in disaster control.

Today we are proud to have 13 volunteer paramedics and paramedics on standby.

Among them are 8 PSNV (PSNV = psychosocial emergency care) emergency services.

With our "emergency vehicle" project, we want to invest in the operational readiness of our PSNV unit in our area of ​​operation, ensure and significantly improve the operational capability of our volunteers, and continue to contribute to securing the future of our association.

This vehicle is necessary because we have only been able to call one emergency vehicle our own so far.

The demands on our medical readiness as well as on the PSNV unit are constantly increasing and at the moment we have no way of guaranteeing both at the same time.

So that we can continue to contribute to more effective and efficient medical care and rapid care in the event of psychosocial emergencies in the future, we have already decided to purchase this important vehicle in good time and with foresight.

In order to save costs, we will carry out feasible conversion and expansion work ourselves.

Nevertheless, this new acquisition project presents us with another financial challenge.

However, our local association cannot cover the missing amount of 15,000 euros alone, so we ask for your support.
