Escape from Ukraine: Concrete emergency aid - Collection of SAF Rottweil

From day one of the war, a team around the 1st chairman Wolfgang Fuoss (Orfanis) and Michael Maier set out to support the fled people from Ukraine on the spot and to accompany them on their flight from Ukraine to a transit station, where they are well taken care of before they can travel on. Incessantly, the team steers the rented vans from the Romanian-Ukrainian border towards RO-Cadea, among other places, where a school with an attached boarding school, which has been supported by Orfanis for years, is located. This has now become an important stopover, where up to 120 people are currently housed. The financial means are also used for the supply of refugees and for necessary aid transports to Ukraine.

At this point we would like to support specifically: Money for fuel is urgently needed for the trips and the equipment of the rooms must be quickly adapted so that the people can sleep in beds (bunk beds) and the capacity can be expanded. The beds are already being planned here in the Rottweil/Oberndorf area by eager supporters. With the help of prototypes, bunk beds for 180 people are to be built in Cadea/Romania in just a few weeks, so that the refugees no longer have to lie on the floor or on temporary mattresses. These bunk beds will be made in cooperation with the students of the vocational school in RO-Cadea. 

With the help of this donation project, the bunk beds will be financed for the most part. 

With this money, wood, tools, small machines such as routers and cross-cut saws, jigsaws, drills, etc. can be purchased locally in just a few days, and then production can begin immediately with the help of the school community in RO-Cadea. The bunk beds will be deliberately planned and manufactured in such a way that subsequently space-saving relocation would be possible.
