    About this project

Anna Mikolajczak from Regine Sixt Kinderhilfe Stiftung is responsible for this project
The crisis in Ukraine and the inconceivable suffering it brings with it shake us deeply. Children, as the smallest and most vulnerable members of our society, are particularly affected. The attacks are creating a trail of devastation, robbing the children of homes, schools, food sources and, in the worst cases, their families.

Many children are at risk of long-term physical and psychological damage. Those who can must flee, leaving behind everything they love and are used to. Not infrequently, this means leaving a father or brother behind, as they are not allowed to leave Ukraine due to the declared martial law.

In this serious crisis, we must reach out to the people affected and do our utmost to support and protect the Ukrainian children. What is needed now is fast, uncomplicated help. First of all, the people affected must be brought to safety. But the medium-term care of the crisis victims also needs to be organised. Medical and psychological care as well as food, housing, hygiene articles and consumer goods must be provided. But there is no money for this...

The Regine Sixt Children's Aid Foundation has been implementing emergency aid projects in crisis and natural disaster areas for over 20 years. Through close cooperation with long-standing partners, the aid arrives where it is most urgently needed. You too can help to support the youngest among those affected by the Ukraine crisis - every contribution counts!
