Annelin(4) lives with her parents in Kabale in southwestern Uganda in an emergency shelter for people with disabilities. The parents are largely without financial resources. Annelin can neither stand nor walk.
Doctors recommend orthopedic surgery at the youngest possible age.
The operation/treatment will cost 3.500€. The parents cannot afford this money.
General health insurance does not exist in Uganda.
