In a world that grows more and more interconnected digital technologies pave new ways to do good and to make the world a better place. We may take internet access for granted on an everyday basis, but for school children in Cameroon it would mean the chance for a future and for education. This is where volunteers begin their work by bringing computers as well as the necessary knowledge to those in need. Other than that, dedicated professionals also offer coding workshops for women, set up digital media projects for teens, or organize laptop courses for the elderly. Protected through anonymity many people also use the internet to talk about personal problems and to ask for help. To help them in crisis, volunteers offer online counselling services. What is more, online universities make it possible for refugees to begin or continue their studies regardless of their location - and after that is taken care of, online job searches help to integrate them into the labor market. All of this and yet so much more is being done by our digital world changers and as you can see, the opportunities are practically endless. Through our platform they collect donations for computers, computer science teacher’s salaries, or work spaces for students studying online. But also the very basic things such as server costs and software development need to be taken care of. Support them now and help them to turn their projects into reality!
