About us
PICU is an unincorporated association, that is recognized as charitable by the finance office. The Management Board consists of two members: Prof. Wolf Dieter Gogoll and Hartmuth Schulz. The purpose of this association is the sponsoring of the construction of a paediatric intensive care unit (PICU) in the teaching hospital Karapitiya in Galle, Sri Lanka, including the education and qualification of the staff.

Es haben sich einige Spender gefunden, die den noch offenen Betrag von 2.700,00 Euro finanziert haben. Wir danken allen Spendern und Unterstützern, die uns beim Aufbau der Kinderintensivstation geholfen und damit viele Kinderleben in Sri Lanka gerettet haben.
