managed by J. Sell

About us

CSSProject for integrative Mediation is a non-governmental non-profit organization based in Berlin. It was founded in 2005 and has expertise in supporting local peace processes in post-conflict areas through the approach of integrative mediation. CSSP develops processes that are adapted to specific local contexts and build local capacities to the resolution of inter-community conflicts. These include mediation, negotiation, institutional support, consultations, conflict analysis, trust-building, leadership skills, etc. CSSP promotes principles that enable peaceful conflict resolution through systemic and participatory approaches, non-discrimination and gender equality.
The work of CSSP builds on ten years of experience of the International Mediator in Bosnia and Herzegovina Prof. Dr. Christian Schwarz-Schilling. Apart from the extensive experience in the Western Balkans CSSP has experience in conflict resolution in Vietnam, Sri Lanka and the SAARC region, specifically in Nepal.
