About us

In 2010, we (Philipp Arlt and Julia Schilder) were in Vogan for a development internship and decided to support the projects of the NGO "Cercle des Jeunes Volontaires pour le Développement Intégré" with fundraising.
Vogan is the main city in the region of Vo in southern Togo, where the key socioeconomic problem is the insufficient education of youth and especially women.
The NGO "Cercle des Jeunes Volontaires pour le Développement Intégré" (Association of Young Volunteers for Integrated Development) focuses exactly these problems with its projects.
Since we both worked in close collaboration with the NGO president, Monsieur Biosse, we have seen with our own eyes how the projects are carried out and proceed effectively. The association CJVDI deserves our full confidence and since it is a very small NGO, the danger of funds trickling away in administrations is avoided.
Every cent that we collect will be used for the projects, e.g. to buy school benches or rugby shirts or to paint a school building.
Our goal to support the region around Vogan is unique in the sense that we have local support on the ground with CJVDI and excellent relations to the community in Togo.
