FairTrek is an innovative project that brings together tourism and development work. It aims to assist in the development of communities in need. Adventure is the heart of our activities, yet fairness is the key of our vision. Working with communities, local partners, NGO’s and villagers themselves, FairTrek has created exceptional trails and activities that allow visitors to have access to remote villages and thus leading to generating new jobs and alternative income in the communities. Our vision is to enhance the quality of life through tourism. We believe that everyone can make a change even by traveling!

Donations that cannot be used for the project
Dear donors,
when managers of a project haven't requested a payout over the course of a longer period, the German law and our terms of use provide that we (gut.org gemeinnützige AG, operator of betterplace.org) use the money for our tax-deductible purposes. The same applies to the cancellation of a project, where the manager of the project is unable to realize it.
Therefore we will use these donations for the following purposes
