About us

UMzingwane.org is a project initially by people of Mbizingwe/Nsezi area in Esigodini, south east of Bulawayo, in Zimbabwe, with a number of projects aiming to help the local people.
In this one we wish to re-roof four classroom blocks that had their roofs blown off by the wind mid year 2010. The students have endured all kinds of weather under open roofs. They even sat the final (national) exams under such conditions in November. Just in few weeks (January 2011), they will be restarting for the new year, and the situation won't be any new to them, nothing will have changed - still the sky providing the roof for them.
