About us

The SG Heidelberg-Kirchheim e.V. is a strong non-profit sports club in the south of Heidelberg with thirteen departments and branches. Basketball, wheelchair basketball, soccer, handball, volleyball, chess, capeira, gymnastics, athletics, jekami, tennis, heavy athletics and bowling. With over 2,200 members and a youth development center in cooperation with Anpfiff ins Leben e.V. includes homework supervision and tutoring connected to soccer; numerous social projects are organized. Our home is in the "Sportzentrum Süd" with two halls and the further use of two school halls, four football fields (two grass and two artificial turf fields, a beach volleyball field, an athletics facility in the stadium and an open field with basketball hoops and handball goals. In the immediate vicinity we have the climbing center of Alpine Club and the Alla Hopp facility on which we conduct senior sports but also an integrative football school.We stand for diversity and strongly against racism.
