About us
Loesje is an international network of young, creative citizens started in Arnhem, the Netherlands in 1983. Loesje challenges people to reflect on society and to create their ideal world by making and spreading short texts on posters, signed by the Dutch girl Loesje.
Loesje went international in 1989 and strives to spread creativity, positive criticism, ideas, philosophical ponderings and thoughts on current events. The foundation Loesje International, founded in the Netherlands but with its seat in Berlin since 7 years, works as an umbrella organization and gives support to and initiates projects for young people engaged in Loesje activities worldwide.
Loesje is currently active in over 30 countries in the World including Armenia, Bosnia, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Mexico, Nepal, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Palestine, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the Ukraine and the United States of America.
